Georgian Culture Center was established in 1996. It was founded by Mr. Victor Sirelson.
Victor Sirelson was born in 1944 in New York City and later lived in Los Angeles.
In 1965 he graduated from the California Institute of Technology (CH ALT). He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1969, and from Columbia University in 1986.
His main profession is mathematical modeling and analysis. He completed a full course in ethnology at the University of California. From 1964 to 1970 he was the lead singer of the Los Angeles Folk Ensemble (“AMAN”).

With selfless labor and love
The rehearsals at the concerts ended with applause from the American audience. The dancers danced to miss their homeland. Then this company was a small Georgia for many … Today the company has a new generation of dancers, wonderful people, professional dancers.
The first children’s choreographic ensemble was “Roots” created by Mrs. Shorena Barbakadze;
The second children’s choreographic ensemble was Georgia, led by choreographers Irina Khutsurauli and Roin Margvelashvili.
Today the ensemble is called “Lost Legend” and its leaders are Tamar Tsivilashvili and Ilia Svianaidze.
Initially, there was only one singer in the company – Mrs. Liana Kochiashvili; In 1998, women Manana Chitauri and Maia Kiladze joined the ensemble, and later: Messrs. Davit Ambrosidze, Zaza Revazishvili; Lekso and Vano Goderdzishvili;
During this period, the women’s trio consisting of Mzia Bekurashvili, Zaira Chokheli, and Tamila Zatikashvili joined the company and strengthened our musical capabilities. The women’s trio “Magnolia”,

– The Georgian Theater of New York was founded by the Sirelsons in 2008. Later, Ms. Khatuna Ioseliani and Ms. Tsutsa Kapanadze made a great contribution to its formation.
The theater was presented to the audience with six Otia Ioseliani’s shinaberas and one man. The following people work at the school: Nino Gharibashvili, Eka Chichua, Tariel Berimeladze.

Georgian language class is led by Ms. Maia Manjgaladze.
The short film class for children was first created by Mr. Irakli Lebanidze, and later the work was resumed by a very talented director Mrs. Keti Orjonikidze.

For several years, Georgian dance classes were held in American schools.
The Musical Theater was founded in 1993 by Ms. Leah Sirelson.
Its music director is Mr. Tengiz Shautidze; The choreographer is Mrs. Ani Gadelia. The script of Georgian musicals is written especially for this theater.
Hip Hop class is led by Mrs. Nutsa Abaishvili. It has been there for five years.
This is the third year that the gymnastics group has been operating. It is headed by Mrs. Nino Abaishvili.
Sunday school led by Ms. Tsutsa Kapanadze.
The company hosts many different types of events: exhibitions, meetings, film screenings, and more.
